I measure life in days that pass.
Yesterday, today, tomorrow.
I did better than yesterday. I will do even better tomorrow.

The hands shake the snow globe.
World has changed now.
Yesterday, today, tomorrow feel suddenly the same.
How can I progress? Oh how sad I am. My plans are all collapsing.

I measure life in days I breathe.
Alive, shining eyes, beating chest.
My progress is not in comparison.

My progress is me.

Is the creature in the gloom

roaring loud at every moon?

Is it hungry once again

hidden in places of your brain?

Fetch your weapons at once

feel strong and take a chance.

Oh! your armour is badly torn

and your sword is long gone.

And the growling knocks you down

shivering body touches the ground.

Thoughts and tears feed the beast

wrap chains around your wrists.

Close your eyes, feel your breath

you are alive, beating chest.

Call its name, say it loud

make your voice kill its sound.
